Anisha, aged 28, was an international student from India who was pursuing her studies while working part-time at Jimmy Spice’s restaurant on Broad Street. She was struck by a black Audi RSQ8 on Dartmouth Middleway early on Saturday, May 30, and despite emergency response efforts, she sadly succumbed to her injuries. A man was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of drugs, and later released on bail as investigations continue.
Anisha is remembered as a quiet, gentle, and kind-hearted young woman who touched everyone she met. Friends and colleagues describe her as “lovely,” thoughtful, and always willing to engage warmly in conversation. She brought calm positivity into every environment she entered.
